Kenneth Brincat is the Chief Operations Officer at the Malta Business Registry. In his role Kenneth is responsible to oversee the Agency’s ongoing operations and procedures. He is the Agency’s second-in-command and acts as the Deputy Registrar.
Kenneth is responsible for the efficiency of business and is a key member of the senior management team, reporting only to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). He maintains control of diverse business operations, so he delivers his functions as an experienced and efficient leader. Kenneth practices excellent people skills, business acumen and exemplary work ethics. As an HR specialist, he focuses on maintaining an employee-oriented, high performance culture which emphasises quality, productivity, and goal attainment including the ongoing training and development of the Agency’s employees.
Kenneth started his career with the public service in 1994 and was appointed as an Executive Secretary within a local council in 2000. He spent 18 years in such a role whereby he was the Financial, Executive and Administrative Head of the Local Council. In this role, he managed to spearhead the Qormi Local Council to obtain the European Label of Governance Excellence being the first Maltese Local Council together with Naxxar to be awarded with such a recognition. At Qormi Local Council, Kenneth implemented the KPIs being the first and the only Maltese Local Council to implement such performance framework. He was awarded as the Executive Secretary of the year for 2017.
Kenneth Brincat holds a Master of Science Degree in Human Resources and Training from the University of Leicester.
