The Malta Business Registry (MBR) will host the Global Working Group on Beneficial Ownership from March 25th to March 27th, 2025. This event serves as a vital platform for dialogue and collaboration, bringing together key stakeholders to discuss the challenges and advancements in beneficial ownership (BO) transparency.
The meeting’s agenda is packed with insightful presentations and workshops, featuring expert speakers from Moneyval, the EU Commission, and various business registries. Over the course of three intensive days, participants will examine the challenges faced by BO Registers and explore strategies for enhancing transparency, compliance, and cross-border collaboration. A key focus will be the exchange of experiences and best practices, fostering closer cooperation among registries.

Grupp ta’ Ħidma Globali dwar il-Laqgħa ta’ Sidien Benefiċċjarji f’Malta
Ir-Reġistru tan-Negozju ta’ Malta (MBR) se jospita Grupp ta’ Ħidma Globali dwar il-Laqgħa ta’ Sidien Benefiċċjarji (BO) mill-25 ta’ Marzu sas-27 ta’ Marzu 2025. Dan l-avveniment iservi bħala pjattaforma importanti għal djalogu u l-kollaborazzjoni, li jlaqqa’ flimkien il-partijiet ikkonċernati ewlenin biex jiddiskutu l-isfidi u l-avvanzi biex tissaħħaħ it-trasparenza rigward ir-reġistru ta’ sidien benefiċċjarji (BO).
L-aġenda tal-laqgħa tinkludi preżentazzjonijiet u diskussjonijiet interessanti b’kelliema esperti minn Moneyval, il-Kummissjoni Ewropea, u diversi reġistri tan-negozju minn madwar id-dinja. Matul dawn it-tlett ijiem intensivi, il-parteċipanti se jeżaminaw l-isfidi ffaċċjati mir-Reġistri tas-Sidien Benefiċċjarji, se jesploraw strateġiji għat-tisħiħ tat-trasparenza, tal-konformità, u ta’ kollaborazzjonijiet.
